Gibson Melody Maker Double Cut Tobacco Sunburst

Incredibly rare double cut away from 1960/61.

Mostly original and unmolested complete with original case. Bridge has been replaced but other than that this looks clean and original.

Simply stunning sound and an amazing guitar to play. There is something magical about these simple old guitars, although originally a student instrument they are incredibly good to play. The pickup is outragious,  just wicked beyond belief. Powerful, articulate and amazingly versatile.

Real head turner and generally shocks everyone who play’s her. We genuinely mean that, she has  surprised countless players by how good this old girl truly is. Stunning old Mahogany that you simply can’t get anymore.

Stunning guitar, what she lacks in bling she more than makes up for in  Mojo and Tone, by the bucket load.
